Everyone wants to own a tablet and especially an iPad. When you don’t own one yourself, you should feel jealous! There are a multitude of excellent features on the iPad, regardless of what you will be using it for. Use the advice offered below to help you get the most from your iPad experience.
You can now use folders on the iOS iPad. To create a folder, move an app and put it on top one. The result will be a folder containing both of your apps together. You can rename the folder whatever you want.
You can view the apps running on your iPad. While you work on other things, some apps will continue running on your iPad in the background. If you want to know which apps are currently active, all you need to do quickly tap the home button two times in succession. These active apps will show up at the very bottom of your display in a bar. Swipe your finger in a downward motion to close the window.

You can access your Google Calendar in the Calendar app on the iPad by choosing, “Mail,” “Contacts,” and “Calendars” under the Settings menu. Navigate to Add An Account, and then tap Other. You will see an icon that says Add CalDAV Account. Tap this to enter your Google information. You can then exit the settings and access the calender through the app. Your information should now be there!
Do you find it annoying to have to tap your bookmarks icon whenever you need to go to the websites you use the most? You can stop this by permanently enabling the bookmark bar. Under the Safari menu in Settings, choose the On option next to Always Show Bookmark Bar.
If you want to mute the volume on the iPad, try this. Just hold the “volume down” key for a few seconds. This is much quicker than trying to adjust the volume over and over again. Hold it again to return your iPad’s sound back to its previous level.
If you want to copy text quickly, just press and hold the text to be copied. After clicking copy, you can go into another application and place your finger down where you would like the text to go. A menu will pop up and you should tap on paste. To do an entire paragraph, simply tap four times.
The iPad cloud function is very helpful for people who use the Internet a lot. This is great to store data without taking a lot of space on the hard drive of your iPad. Use the cloud service as well as the device for storing important documents.
Some people hold the iPad horizontally while taking photos. This will cause the shutter to move slightly and could potentially rattle when attempting to snap a picture. To get around this issue, use the orientation lock instead. You can then put the button to push near your thumb. After you’ve snapped the picture, use the image editor and rotate the picture to your liking.
